Story

"Romeo and Juliet"

The Montagues and Capulets are two important families in the city of Verona, Italy. They are sworn enemies and have been feuding for generations. The current Lord Montague and Lord Capulet have been at odds with each other for years, disregarding the remonstrances of their respective wives and the Prince of Verona. Their feud has entangled the young generation.
The Capulets receive a marriage proposal for the lord's daughter Juliet from Count Paris, who is the wealthiest man in Verona. Count Paris offers to take over the Capulets' mounting debts. Lord Capulet's nephew Tybalt, who has loved Juliet since childhood, is opposed to their marriage. Lord Capulet, however, spurns his nephew's objection and plans to bring the two together at a masquerade ball.
Romeo, the son of Lord Montague, is incited by his close friends Benvolio and Mercutio to sneak into the ball being held at the Capulet house. That's where Romeo bumps into the girl who is connected to him by the invisible thread of fate: Juliet. She is now trying to get away from Count Paris with a feeling of repulsion toward the family-arranged marriage. Romeo and Juliet are instantly convinced that they find theireagerly-awaited true love. However, Romeo has to leave when Tybalt makes a fuss about the presence of a Montague in the ball. Juliet finds out that it is Romeo Montague whom she has fallen in love with, but she cannot control her feelings for him. Meanwhile, Romeo finds himself unable to leave the Capulet house because of his burning love for her. Romeo comes to see her again, while Juliet is thinking of her love that God brought into her life. The couple exchange lovers' vows beyond their family background, and they plan to marry before her marriage to Count Paris is formally arranged.
The next morning, Romeo visits to ask Friar Laurence to marry him to Juliet. Friar Laurence is surprised at the fact of the marriage between a Montague and a Capulet, but he thinks their marriage has the potential to end the feud between the two families. The friar tells Romeo to bring Juliet to the chapel.
With the help of Juliet's nurse, who is moved by the couple's profound love, Romeo and Juliet pledge their eternal loves to each other in the presence of Friar Laurence that afternoon. The couple are on cloud nine, but they do not yet know of the tragedy lying ahead of them…
