“GUYS AND DOLLS,” one of Broadway’s most popular and cheerful musical comedies, continues to enchant audiences around the world. Premiering on Broadway in 1950 and running for an impressive 1,200 performances, this masterpiece of a musical comedy has seen countless revivals across the globe and continues to be loved by audiences to this day. The Takarazuka Revue first staged it in 1984, with Moon Troupe’s Mao Daichi and Hitomi Kuroki in the lead. It was revived in 2002 by Moon Troupe, starring Jun Shibuki and Kurara Emi, and again by Star Troupe in 2015 with Kairi Hokusho and Fu Hinami in the lead roles, all of which earned great acclaim. This beloved musical, packed with exhilarating numbers, is brought to life by Moon Troupe, led by An Hozuki and Juri Amashi, with a new script, translated lyrics, and direction for the 2025 production.
