Story

“THE Poe Clan”

“THE Poe Clan” is a Gothic romance that follows Edgar, a young boy, as he journeys across time and space after joining a group of vampires destined to live for eternity. More than fifty years after its original publication, Moto Hagio’s masterpiece continues to captivate readers across generations.
Shuichiro Koike, who joined the Takarazuka Revue with a dream of adapting this work into a musical one day, waited many years until he could bring it to the stage. In 2018, his vision finally became a reality as a Flower Troupe production, widely acclaimed for its masterful staging of the rich and profound world of the original manga. We are proud to announce this long-awaited revival—once considered impossible without the perfect cast, given its exceptional quality. The alluring and enigmatic Jun Asami will bring a fresh interpretation to the immortal Edgar of “THE Poe Clan” on the stage of the Takarazuka Revue.
This performance will be the debut of the new top pair of Snow Troupe, Jun Asami and Yui Neiro.
